Another Year Down

In 6 short days we'll be heading home to the USA! As our second year abroad draws to a close, we've had concerts and parties to attend. First, we had Everleigh's end of the year concert for school. Her class did "What's the Time, Mr. Wolf?" and then all of the classes got together for "The More We Get Together." I didn't realize until I watched the video that we have "that kid" - you know, the one who's in the back twirling around and screaming at the top of her lungs. : )

We also had our end of the year party for the staff this weekend. Our school just celebrated its 25th anniversary, so the party was themed "Silver Soiree." A great time was had by all - especially Marty who hopped on stage and joined the band as the guest tambourinist. ; )

Now we're in the home stretch with the final week of school in front of us. I'm definitely ready for a visit back home. I'm ready for open space, fresh air, and Ranger rides. I'm ready for play dates with cousins, catching up with friends, and shopping trips with my mom. I'm ready for grilling out, sweet corn on the cob, and Whitey's ice cream. I'm ready for 7 weeks of relaxation and rejuvenation. Bring on summer!
