Saturday we took a trip on the metro. I've been trying to find a gymnastics class for Everleigh and I found one at a nearby mall, so we decided to check it out. It's actually a franchise and they have them in America, too. They're called "My Gym" and they offer music, art, and movement (gymnastics-like) classes. It looked a lot like the tots classes that we used to go to back home. Perfect for Evs. Not so perfect price. Over $1000 for 6 months! Yikes! So now I'm on the hunt for a dance class that is a little closer to home and hopefully much cheaper!
After our little trip to the mall, we took a quick swim. It's been really hot here, but our pool closes at the end of the month, so we've been trying to take advantage while we can. This was Anika's second dip in the pool. The first time the water was really cold and she hated it. This time it was like bath water, so she really enjoyed her little "swim." : )
Today I took a day trip to an antique furniture market called Zhongshan with some coworkers. It was about two hours away - right on the Macau border. There were shops upon shops of cool Chinese furniture and home decor. Some old and some more updated, some reasonably priced and some extremely expensive. I did make some small purchases today, but I'd like to get back before we move away so I can buy some cool pieces to take with us when we leave.

There were also a couple of dinners with friends :) and there was some work to get done at school :( this weekend.
Tomorrow is the start of a short week for us. We have parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday, so no classes. Then Thursday is professional development and Friday is the Moon Festival holiday so there's no school. Woohoo!
